Folding Systems
• The Powerbend is a Series of mono and bi-directional folders that are quickly changing the relationship between
high-tech competency and high cost.
• Unique to the PowerBend is its ability to be configured, and reconfigured. Starting with the frame, options are
simply bolted on, growing capabilities, expanding flexibilities, and when done, the end user has a folder perfectly
suited to the application.
• Available in a range of capacities from 6.5’ x 0.148” through 13’ x 0.098”
• Machines can be configured with Rotational clamping beams, automatic tool clamping on the upper and folding
beams, R, L, J, or U shaped back gauges, high speed drive systems for the folding and clamping beam,
graphical PC based controls with offline programming, and bi-directional capability round out the list of available
options. And to top it off, almost all options can be retrofitted, including the bi-directional option!
• The Powerbend allows optimal use of capital, while maintaining a more economical process by lowering your
initial capital investment.
• The EVO folder allows for an Inside Bend Radius (IBR) of less than material
thickness and flange lengths of 3x material thickness or less.
• Offered standard stroke and opens of 33-1/2”, and up to 63-1/2” as an option.
• Bending speeds up to 150° per second, and clamping beam speeds
approaching 300 IPM.
• Work Around Space up to 200mm for Up and Down Bending without the
need to clear a flange in the Up /Down folding process is standard.
• Available in capacities from 8’ x 0.196” to16.5’ x 0.148”.
• The Evolution is the ultimate in folding flexibility and speed.

control system, the POS 3000
Sheet Metal Designer.
The POS 3000 creates a virtual
3D environment in which the
operator draws the part using
their finger to sketch the parts
profile. The control automatically
combines the planes of the
profile drawn into a 3D profile
and is so sophisticated it
automatically calculates the best
way to form the part, optimizing
the efficiency of the forming
operation.
